Caring Friends is a licensed 245D Intensive Support Services provider offering person-centered supports tailored to each individual’s goals, strengths, and needs. We provide intensive services including supervision, skill development, health and safety support, behavior support implementation, community engagement, and crisis prevention. Individuals are actively involved in all decisions, and services are delivered with respect, dignity, and collaboration to promote independence, stability, and meaningful community living.

This program will provide AFC services to individuals with physical disabilities, developmental or Intellectual disabilities, mental health conditions, brain injuries, substance use concerns, or age-related needs that require extra care and daily living support. Our AFC home is located in Coon Rapids, near Coon Rapids High School. This area is a predominantly residential area, it's a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood with easy access to bus lines, the home is also located in a cul-de-sac/deadend. There is no high traffic in the neighborhood. County Road 10 and many other things such as North Town Mall, churches, shops, restaurants, libraries, and grocery stores. The closest hospital is Mercy Hospital and another nearby hospital is Unity Hospital in Fridley. Police, Fire, and ambulance can all reach the home within several minutes if they were called. It is a split level home with an attached 2 car garage. On the main floor, there are 3 bedrooms, a living room, kitchen with seating area, dining room and 1 bathroom. On the lower level, there are 4 bedrooms with 1 bathroom and a living room, the bathroom on the lower level has a walk in shower. Individuals will reside on this lower level with full access to the common areas on the lower and main floor of the home and also have their own bedroom. There is a chairlift that can be used to people in going upstairs and/or downstairs, there is also wheelchair access through the garage. Beyene Yoseph AFC was established in 2024, in a brand new home in Andover Mn. The home is located in a safe neighborhood that values community and well being. The home has modern appliances and is very spacious. Hoyer Lift and Wheelchair ramps to access the garage and downstairs patio provide a accesible home for all residents.
